Alejandro Daniel Cantu's Obituary
Daniel was 53 years old and passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 in Lake Jackson, Texas. He was the husband to Connie Cantu and they shared 36 years of life together.
He was born on April 4, 1968 in Albernanthy, Texas to Eva Sauceda. He and his family moved to the Houston area when he was a child. He was also raised by Pete Salinas. Daniel put himself through Rice in 93’ for Aviation Mechanics. Shortly after graduating, Daniel became an Operator for Brazoria Drainage District No. 4, and worked until he retired after 20 years. (1996-2016)
Daniel, like his dad, never knew a stranger. He loved wholeheartedly and never really had a dull moment. He based his life around his family. He enjoyed raising and conditioning game birds. He fought chickens throughout most of his life. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool alongside his family. He will be remembered by his love for life, for his smile, clumsiness, wild rides, and being the life of the party. He always said he owed it all to God.
He is survived by his wife Connie Cantu, daughter Amber Cantu and spouse Jay Garica, son Alejandro Daniel Cantu Jr. (Dee), son Fabian Cantu and wife Johjoe Cantu, son Xavier Valdez and spouse Alma Garza. Grandchildren are Bailey Wilbanks, Corbin Dainel Cantu, Elvira Cantu, Zayah Valdez, Zinnia Valdez, Xavier Valdez Jr. Brothers are Lucio Sauceda and wife Annette, Rick Sauceda and wife Olivia, Jerry Sauceda.
