Mr. Albert Henry Jenson Jr.'s Obituary
Al Jenson Albert Henry Jenson, Jr. ("Al") of San Leon passed away on December 27, 2012. Al was born to Ruby and Albert Jenson, on July 20, 1946. He grew up in Coolidge, Texas, graduated from Coolidge High School, and received his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. He served as a reservist in the United States Marine Corps. Al dedicated over 30 years to the family businesses, Coolidge Grain & Produce and Jenson Brokerage. He was a lifelong, passionate Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved playing and watching golf. A highlight of his life was seeing Jack Nicklaus play at Pebble Beach. Al had many friends who shared his fun-loving nature and love of people. Al is survived by his wife, Colette Jenson; his son, Justin Jenson of Houston; mother Ruby Jenson of Austin; brother Gary Jenson and wife Carla of Austin; sister Carol Jenson and partner Dana Stripling of Austin; Steve Smith of Houston; nephews Jared Jenson and wife Hillary, Ryan Jenson and wife Missy, Ian Jenson and niece Whitney Jenson; great-nephews Ben and Wyatt and great-niece Addison; and a large extended family who will miss him greatly. Al was predeceased by his father, Albert H. Jenson, and brother, Ron Jenson. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m., and the funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012, at South Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1312 North Main St., Pearland, Texas 77581.
