Mr. Adan Cevallos' Obituary
Adan H. Cevallos, Sr. 75, of South Houston, passed away on August 25, 2017.
Visitation will be held at San Jacinto Funeral Home on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5PM to 9PM. with a rosary starting at 6PM.The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini 10727 Hartsook St. Houston, TX. 77034 at 9:30AM. Father Frank T. Fabj will be officiating. Burial will follow at SouthPark Funeral Home and Cemetery .
Adan Sr. was born in Tahoka, Texas on December 3, 1941 to Julia and Miguel Ceballos. He graduated from W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Adan Sr. was married to Helen Diaz on September 3, 1961.
He worked as a carpet layer for most of his life. In his later years, he worked as an independent truck driver. He had a strong work ethic that he passed along to his children and grandchildren. His sense of humor and laughter was infectious. He treasured hosting gatherings amongst family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, football, reading, and movies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen Cevallos; along with his two children; Adan Jr. and Kathrynne Cevallos of Houston, Texas and Rachel and John Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas; his four grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Marcus and Matthew Cevallos; nine great-grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Miguel Ceballos, sister, Anita Cevallos and brother, Jesus Cevallos, Sr.
