Adam Joshua Aaron's Obituary
Adam Aaron entered the loving arms of Our Lord on February 17th, 2025, at 40 years of age. Adam was born in Houston, TX, on August 27th, 1984.
Adam attended EC Mason Elementary, Manvel Junior High, and Alvin High School. Adam was an excellent student and played sports throughout his school career. While at Alvin High School, he was a varsity letterman for two years, earning honors as defensive player of the year and all-district honorable mention.
Upon graduation, Adam attended Junior College and became interested in Criminal Justice. Ultimately, he attended the Police Academy at Alvin Community College. While in attendance, he made many friends and was known to help anyone in any way he could. He was also known for his sense of humor and ability to brighten a room. Adam dedicated his life to becoming a Peace Officer for the State of Texas. After becoming a Peace Officer, Adam joined the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, attaining the rank of Sergeant, where he made many lifelong friendships. Adam loved his job and the brotherhood of officers whom he considered family.
Adam was a solid Christian who embarked upon an even deeper and more dedicated walk with Jesus as he courageously battled cancer. He joined a weekly life group as part of his faith journey, bringing him new friendships and a closer relationship with our Lord. He loved sharing his thoughts about the Lord and looked forward to entering heaven and reuniting with his beloved Gran.
Adam enjoyed traveling with his family and trying new restaurants in each new city they visited. He was an excellent father and mentor to his daughter, Callie, and husband to his wife, Katie. Throughout his entire cancer journey, he put his family first and made sure they were supported in any way possible. He was a textbook example of preparing a family for the reality of death while using the backdrop of the promise and reward of Heaven.
Adam is preceded in death by his Gran and Pap, Jack and Bettye Aaron, and his grandmother Carol Jane Heydorn.
Adam will always be remembered by his wife, Katie Gillispie; his daughter Callie and her mother, Amy; his father and step-mother, Eric Aaron and Amy Aaron; his mother, Patricia Heydorn; and many friends.
