My mom's brother Ward was always my favorite Uncle. He was always quick with a joke and a smile and just had a great personality. He made the best margaritas, and knew all the Perry family history I loved to hear about. I'm sure glad the Astros won the world series for him last year. We all miss you, Ward.

I remember Little League games, getting talked into letting Joey plat Raider Football wth Chris, oSt. Clare altar boys and Chris going to Seadrift with us. Later, Chris and Denise sheltered me during Harvey when my kids were unable to get to me. Ward and Dorothy raised a fine young man—- a true credit to them. Prayers for your family. Knew Ward growing up in Brownsville. Graduated together in the Class of 1957 from Brownsville High. Enjoyed many good visits with Ward and Dorothy in our later years at a Gathering of Eagles. Ward always insisted that the Gathering of Eagles not happen during deer season. He will always be remembered for his warm handshake and friendly smile. Hartley and Barbara Sappington

I grew up in the house across the street from the Perry’s. I recall many fun times on Parksley Dr. Ward was a great guy who cared about everyone. He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
