My beautiful Wita. Although I know you are in a better place having a party dancing with your parents, children, grandchildren, sisters and many more, I miss you so much. Thank you for raising me to be the strong woman I am now. I will always cherish all the stories you've shared with me and the deep conversations we've had. Us watching all your favorite novelas and Casa Cerados together. Words can't describe how much of an amazing woman you were. How much you inspired me to always walk with my head held high no matter how low life felt. Fito and I were honored for you to hold our 2 beautiful children you ALWAYS said I will have despite what the doctors said. We believe this is why our son resembles you in so many ways. So im truly blessed to still have a piece of you with me. Ricky, Michael and I will always hold you close to our hearts and keep your name alive. You are now our guardian angel. Thank you for everything! I love you more!

Tia Elba was a beautiful person with a great heart. She was always positive ,energetic and encouraging. Although we know she is in a better place now where there is no more suffering, She will be dearly missed . My Deepest Condolences to all her immediate family, Children, Grandchildren, and all of her family and friends whos lives she touched. May God grant peace and understanding during this most difficult time. With Love and heavy heart - Yuisa Daughter of Betsy and Pedro (Kike) and sister of Henry Montalvo who all with her now , and my behalf of my husband who us also named Henry like my brother who passed, and my kids Hannah, y Adam. She will forever live in our hearts!

My Tia Elba was a woman of strong opinions with a big heart. She made tough decisions because she loved her family. I remember the big, wild house in Brooklyn. And I still have the flashy watch she gave me when I visited her at the jewelry store. I fondly remember her warm smile like the one here in the picture whenever I visited her on Theta Street. She would almost always prepare rice and beans for me which I could not refuse even if I had recently eaten. Despite that I would often have two servings. The more I ate, the happier she was. I would listen to her stories of growing up in Puerto Rico and the family. I only wish I had videoed more of those good times. Someday I will find those old videos and share them.
