Winifred Margaret Windsor 6/18/37 – 2/8/22 In Loving Memory Winnie Windsor, 84, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, and closest of friends to everyone she met. She was born in Bronx, NY; the daughter Charles and Nora Fox. She spent her early years in Baltimore, MD, marrying the love of her life, Earl Windsor, in 1956; then starting a large family before moving to Houston, TX in 1969. Winnie was a true “Wonder Woman”; raising a large family, working full time as a bookkeeper, involved in numerous church ministries, home caregiver to many relatives & friends and neighborhood Angel for all in need. “Mom”, as she was known to many more than just her own children, was a devoted Christian woman putting Christ first in her life and practiced true charity to all she met. Family was the center of her life; lovingly supporting her children and adopted relatives and friends; but her true happiness was spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved family trips, camping outings, holiday gatherings and any event where family and friends came together. She is survived by her sons Doug, Bucky, Bobby, Earl, David and daughters Dee and Becky. She has 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is reunited in heaven with her husband and parents. Visitation: 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, February 17th, at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. Pearland TX 77581.
