Paul Juarez
May 6, 1933 - March 6, 2022
Pablo Juarez was born on May 6, 1933 in San Luis, a small town in Tlaxcala Mexico, just outside of Puebla. He died on March 6, 2022 in Houston, Texas; he was 88 years old. After arriving in Texas, and determined to be successful, he worked his way up by working in the fields, restaurants, factories, produce markets, warehouses, and more. Eventually reaching work in the auto industry in Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, where he attained independence and success in the trucking business with his own dump trucks, which he operated for the rest of his working days. He finally retired to his dream home on a hill in Bulverde, Texas. Paul lived life to the fullest. He was a friendly, respectful and happy man. He enjoyed good company and good conversation, always ready for get-togethers to celebrate whatever occasion, happy to see family and the chance to socialize. Grandpa/Abuelito beamed when he was with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to travel and vacation with family. He enjoyed Astros games as well as watching the family playing in their sports. He loved visiting family in Puebla, his Mamá y Papá, and his hermanos, whom he loved dearly. Paul was a hard worker all his life until he no longer could. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Catherine Juarez, his son Robert Juarez, grandson Reece Gonzales, parents Gabriel Juarez and Maria Fernandez, sister Estella Juarez, and first wife Anastacia Flores. Paul is survived by his children: Ginny, husband Raymond Carrizal, children Roxanna and Christopher; Patricia, husband Daniel Gonzales, children Danielle, Annamaria Blanca; and Lorenzo; Gabriel, wife Lindi, daughters Amanda, Candise, and Casandra; Rebecca, husband Rick Ramos, children Christina, Rick Jr., and Matthew; Elizabeth, husband Stephen Cross, children Julianne and Zachary; 2 stepchildren from previous marriage to Anastacia: Martin Treviño, sons Michael, Mando and Marcus; Florence Treviño, husband René Alviar, children Rosie, Becky, Ben and Linda; and 3 brothers - Gilberto, Virgilio, and Heliodoro; and sister, Alicia and 14 great grand children. Just days before his passing, Paul was so happy to learn of a great-grandchild coming soon saying “the family is growing” and as miracles go, that great-grandson was born on the same day of Paul’s passing. Pablo was a kind and gentle soul who gently passed in his sleep and is resting peacefully now in God’s hands.
