Jerry Lee Gracy, a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away April 26,2022 The son of Leon and Kathlyne Gracy, Jerry Gracy was born September 16,1940 and attended Burges High School, University of Texas, USATSCH (TOOC, FAC DEV CRS, ADPS, ATPC, TACC) AND DLISC (Vietnamese) Jerry Gracy entered the U.S. Army as 2nd/Lt in 1962. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Captain. As part of his service, He spent seven years in Transportation Corps including two years in Vietnam, earning the medals of: National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Four overseas Service Bars, and Meritorious Unit Citation. Jerry Gracy is survived by his wife Sylvia, children: Bryan and his children Jade & Jordan, Mark, David and his children Devin & Dylan, Rachel, Teresa and her children Joshua & Anika, Melissa and her children Sarah, Rachel, Chris & James. Brother: Bill, sister: Kathy. Jerry Gracy loved ones will always remember his poems, corny jokes, dynamic speaking abilities, and his ability to make those around him laugh.
