Ann was born on May 1, 1949 to Walter and Rosa Jean Krochmalny in Wilmington North, Carolina. She then moved with her mother and older sister Gretchen to Texas. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1967, She went to work in Business Administration for several different Industrial firms, a Marine Surveyor, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army Berlin Brigade in Germany, Monsanto, Sterling in Texas City, Schlumberger in Rosharon and Maxor Pharmacy. She was a tireless worker and enjoyed helping others in the Business Profession. She attended Alvin Community College and San Jacinto Junior College where she received an Associate in Business Administration. In 1969 she was introduced by a mutual friend to Sgt. Dennis L. Wilson. They married in 1969 and were stationed in Berlin, German. In Germany, Annie went to work for the Army’s Berlin Brigade. She traveled throughout Germany, Italy, Greece and Europe. Upon returning to the U.S., our sweet sister Ann and Dennis made their home in Cartersville, Georgia. After divorcing in 1976, she subsequently returned to the Houston area to be near her family. Annie worked and helped to take care of her mother Rosa Jean until her death in 1981. Her mother, Rosa Jean Krochmalny, and Lee Clyde Milstead met in East Texas and married on September 3, 1959. Clyde and Jean raised Gretchen, Ann, Terry and Rona. Ann also helped along with her siblings to take care of her stepfather/daddy Lee Clyde whom she loved and respected. Her Dad’s health deteriorated and he passed away in 1993. In 2001 Ann met David Lee “Boots” Reed in Alvin, Texas. David and Ann were married and began attending Dayspring Church in Santa Fe, Texas. She continued to work and take care of her puppies, flowers, and husband David until his passing in 2010. Her health began deteriorating and she moved to Stafford to be closer to her remaining sister’s. Hazel Ann was predeceased by her father Walter Krochmalny, mother Rosa Jean Milstead, nephew Chris Noel Gibson, sister Gretchen Kay Gibson, precious Daddy Lee Clyde Milstead, first husband Sgt. Dennis Leon Wilson and her second husband David Lee “Boots” Reed. Annie is survived by sister Rona Scarborough, sister Terry Lee Milstead and spouse, Sheri, Lynn Milstead Caswell and husband Ed, brother Joseph Lee Scarborough, niece Bobbye Jean Miller and husband Jason, niece Nautica Grimes, niece Rashannie Grimes and Josh Jennings, nephew Joe Scarborough and son Robert Clyde, brother-in-law Franklin “Dot” Gibson, nephew Frank “Junior” Gibson and wife Vivian, niece Judith Ann Gibson, cousin Gloria Collier, nephew James Flournoy and wife Purita, niece Misty L. Flournoy, niece Mary Flournoy Wyatt and husband John and their children James, Hannah and Sydney, cousin Edith Ruggles and son Glenn and wife Candra, cousin Valerie Baez and husband Fred, nephew Robert S. Hollyfield and wife Debbie and their children Trace and Tessa, niece Poco Cheree Burnes and husband Jesse along with children Savanna and Larry, Annie has numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and precious friends. Visitations will be held Fri. May 6th from 6-8:00pm and Sat. May 7th from 9-10:00am at South Park Funeral Home 1210 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581. Service will be held Sat. May 7th at 10:00am, also at South Park. Graveside gathering will be held after the service. Pastor Brad Drake of Dayspring Church will be officiating. The family would like to extend a deep heartfelt thank you to everyone who offered their prayers, love, concern and support during Annie’s illness.
