Eva Carolyn Thomas

Eva Carolyn Thomas, age 82, passed away at her home in Pearland, TX, surrounded by her family on Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born on September 28, 1939, in Carrollton Georgia to William Howard Bryce and Lillian Estelle Bryce. She attended and graduated from Villa Rica High School and was a drum majorette. Carolyn’s hobbies and interests included raising a family and caring for God’s creation. Carolyn lived life to the fullest through life's simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends. In her younger years she was very active in her church and was a Sunday School teacher. Bowling and getting her hair done were on her to do list every week. She did always look her very best. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a absolute love for animals. She never met a stranger. Carolyn had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Carolyn loved with her whole heart. Her love and prayers covered us all. You could always count on her to crack a joke, and you never knew when she would start doing the jitter bug. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Lillian & Howard Bryce, her Husband Bob Thomas and daughter Debbie Watson ( aka Moosey). She is survived by; her daughter Donna Payne Bryant, son in Law Mike Bryant and family, sons: Steven Hurst, Michael Meadows , Emery Crawford Jr, and family; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn will be remembered as a bright, shining light, the best mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend anyone could ask for.
