Blanca E. Rivera

December 22, 1961 - March 29, 2022

Blanca E. Rivera, 60, entered the kingdom of heaven on March 29, 2022 as her parents & her daughter welcomed her heavenly arrival. Blanca was born on December 22, 1961 to Joel V. & Diamantina S. Gutierrez in Houston, Texas. She attended Milby High School and continued on to her career at Enbridge Inc., for 42 years. Outside of work she enjoyed serving and volunteering at her church with girls ministry, women ministry and children church. Blanca enjoyed praise and worship and the one thing that caught her husbands attention was her love for God. Together, Blanca and Ganny enjoyed traveling, exploring new adventures and missionary trips. They learned how to cook and Ganny inspired her to cook his favorite dish, Arroz con Gandules. Blanca’s adventurous spirit was among her nieces and nephews. They always knew they could count on their “Titi Blanca” for anything and everything, especially her thrill for camping and mudding. Blanca was happily married to Edgardo “Ganny” Rivera for 35 years. She is survived by her 3 siblings, Joel and wife Yolanda, Mary Helen and husband Daniel, and Joe Luis and wife Yvonne; seven nieces and nephews Danette, Jason and wife Elizabeth, Daniel and wife Tabitha, Jennifer, Matthew and wife Cindy, Danielle and Hannah and seven great nieces and nephews Bethany, Ailey, Adamariz, Dereck, Leo, Sayla and Camila Joy and The Rivera Family, her In-Laws Manuel and wife Lily, Manuel A. and wife Eny, Lynette and husband Kenneth, Joe and wife Yesenia and 6 nieces and nephews, Manuel Jose and wife Stefania, Lynette, Alejandra, Christian, Brandon, and Fabiana.
