The only thing I know about Ms. Ford is that she raised at least one son, my friend Neal, whom I have found through several years of close association to have a wealth of admirable qualities of the sort anyone would want in their children. Accordingly, I believe she must have been the possessor and communicator of such qualities herself. My thoughts and prayers are with Neal, Judy and all the family.

First let me express my deepest condolences to you and to your family during this time. When I think of you, I think of the close bond that you and your mother had. That is a Blessing and should always be a comfort to you. When the Lord was ready to take my Moma to her heavenly home, I felt so very lost. However, 6 months ago, when HE called for my Frances, I was devastated. I have no words to describe that event. But finally, these words helped me get through such heart break and heart ache and maybe you will find comfort in this thought as I have: I have Lost nobody. You see, when we lose something, we do not know where it is------ I KNOW where everybody is---They are in Heaven waiting on me. Though, I still get sad and I get lonesome, that one thought thrills my Soul. Sissy, walk everyday with your hand in God's hand. He will Never let you down.

One of the things I remember most growing up is the love demonstrated between Aunt Marie and Uncle Johnny. They loved each other and they loved their children. It was always fun visiting in their home with all of the cousins and our grandparents. Watching Aunt Marie interact with her family and hearing her talk about them you could see and feel the love she had for each one, as well as for all of us nieces and nephews. I also love the connection she had with mother, Aunt Thelma, and Aunt Audrey, keeping up with each other and visiting each other as long as they were each able. Aunt Marie has always been beautiful inside and out and took such wonderful care of her family. Aunt Marie, you are so loved and will be missed. What a glorious homecoming has been taking place in Heaven as Jesus said "welcome home My good and faithful servant".
Neal, Sissy, and Monte, and your families, I love you and have you in my thoughts, heart, and prayers in the days ahead.
